I wasn’t tag but I don’t care I do what I want. I have always wanted to do this tag okay.
GREED: What is your most inexpensive book? What is your least expensive book?
This book cost me 10 cents…10 CENTS. I was so ecstatic seeing this at my local library sale.
This, however cost me a little more. I paid a whopping 22 dollars at Target. Now I would just go online and buy it but this edition was signed by both Rick Riordan and John Rocco. The Percy Jackson Series is my ultimate fave so I had to get it. It was worth every cent.
WRATH—What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Ah yes Mr. Green. He was the first author that appeared on my mind after reading this question. The first book that I ever read by John Green was Looking for Alaska. I enjoyed and its merit. Then I read The Fault in Our Stars. I really wanted to love this book. After reading it, I try watching the movie and rereading it again to see if I enjoy it more. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I just couldn’t buy it. I didn’t buy the characters. They didn’t feel like they were real teenagers. And no I’m not talking about the cancer, I’m talking about their personalities. The characters seemed too Ted Mosby for me. (Note: Ted Mosby is awesome okay but totally unrealistic unless you’re a full-blown philosopher). It’s not a bad book at all though. John Green’s writing will always be amazing in my book… I just wasn’t a fan of that particular story. Then we have a recent read Paper Towns in which I liked more than TFIOS but not as much as LFA. You can check out a full review on my book review pages. All in all I sometimes love you John Green… but in other times I roll my eyes at your perceptions of teenagers.
GLUTTONY—What book have you deliciously devoured over and over with no shame whatsoever?
I have read this book every Christmas Eve for the past 10 years. I have read it on a physical copy, ebook copy, and even on a sketchy website. Peter Pan will always be a big part of my life.
SLOTH—What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?
Actually, I am almost done with this book. Less than 100 pages to go actually. The thing is that I have been reading this for over a year, but I haven’t picked it up again since January of this year. I want to finish it, but for some reason, I don’t feel like it. I think it’s because I know that I’ll have to read the rest of the series and those books are hefty.
PRIDE—What book do you most talk about in order to sound like a very intellectual reader?
There are more classics I have read but this one stands out to me. I know all the themes and symbolism that this book presents. I think it’s because the time period is interesting and liked how Orwell put the Stalin ideas into farm animals. I feel a little prideful because of this.
LUST—What attributes do you find most attractive in male or female characters?
I like someone who is intelligent, witty, brave, spontaneous, committed and determined. I like someone who I can relate to and have a lot of things in common. (EX: Books;)).For physical attributes…it’s actually weird. I am not really attracted to anyone based on their appearance. I like personality and passion. Both fictional and real world.
ENVY—What books would you most like to receive as a gift?
THIS EDITION OF PETER PAN BECAUSE IT’S BEAUTIFUL AND I NEED IT. YES I HAVE LIKE 7 COPIES OF THIS BOOK BUT I DON’T CARE I REALLY WANT THIS ONE. I HAVE A SHRINE IN MY ROOM AND THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDED LIKE YESTERDAY.
Well this was a fun tag. I TAG EVERYONE.
